Career-Focused Electives

Students can explore real-world career paths through Penn Foster electives such as Auto Repair Technician, Medical Administrative Assistant, Child Care Professional, Small Business Management, and Veterinary Assistant. These courses help students build early job skills and discover future career interests.

Science

Explore life, earth, and physical sciences through interactive lessons in biology, environmental science, and physics.

Personalized Learning Plans

​Every student receives a customized learning plan tailored to their pace, goals, and interests. Core courses are combined with career-focused and academic electives, allowing students to progress efficiently while staying on track for early graduation.

Graduate Faster Than Traditional High School

Our flexible, self-paced model allows students to move as quickly as they’re able. With consistent support from our staff, many students graduate in 6–18 months, depending on:

  • Transfer credits

  • Motivation and time commitment

  • Customized learning plans and goals

How We Support Academic Success

While students are officially enrolled in Penn Foster, they complete their coursework with the daily, weekly, and monthly support of our team at Essential Principals.

We provide:

  • Weekly academic check-ins

  • 1:1 tutoring (virtual or in-person)

  • Homework help and assignment guidance

  • Course pacing and progress tracking

  • State test preparation (if applicable)

  • Parental communication and progress updates
